Inside the white elastic “cube” is a maze of elastic partitions, displaying Zhang Da’s designs for his 2008 line. His designs are flattering on many body types, and a refreshingly original take on androgyny. Zhang Da takes ambiguity to a new level; up can be down, inside can be out, backwards or front. It can all be comfortably stylish (and affordable, price tags all below 500 RMB).

Wear / Go Through Wall / Wear Clothes Zhang Da’s temporary store and exhibition is up in the 706 factory space (in the same courtyard as Pace Wildenstein, enter from Jiuxianqiao Rd #2, turn through brick tunnel (with PACE Gallery written above it) on north side of road, see the entrance on the left hand side. OR, enter throught the main 706 factory door, see the interior entrance on your left hand side. The space is in one small corner of the larger factory space. )
